i totally got lucky with this shot at point lobos state park.  a doe and two fawns just ran down onto the "beach" towards us and stopped to graze for a moment. i just waited until this one looked up. then crazy tourists started getting closer and closer, crowding the deer and they, of course, ran off. duh!

went back down to point lobos quickly the next morning, thinking i'd shoot some macro shots of crabs and what not. i wasn't really too happy with anything, though. this i shot with the good ol' 28-80 kit lens. thought it seemed a little eerie and post-apocalyptic...
